about Eli was born and raised in Scandinavia. She has painted and shown professionally since she was 17.
She creates in all media and in all sizes from miniatures to murals, in public places including schools, universities, restaurants and private residences.
Eli's work includes commissioned art such as murals, illustrations, installations, album covers and advertising.
While she describes her art as intuitive and self-taught, she did stints at the Art Students League in New York City and studied glass blowing at the Orrefors Glass School in Sweden.
Eli's work can be found in collections worldwide.
She has made her home in Charlottesville, Virginia since 1987 where she lives with her family, including seven dogs and one husband.
